Sorry about that. Ive kinda fallen off the blogging wagon, but Ive made it my goal to keep up with this blog. Since I now post all my new pieces in our Etsy shop I plan to expand this blog a little more and post other things that interest me and that I hope interest you.

I have been doing some major organizing of my craft stuff lately and have found I have WAY WAY more then I could ever use. I have 1 or 2 of several cute little things im going to make into limited pieces. Ill be posting these on facebook as a first come first serve sort of thing so I can clear of some extra supplies I have hanging around.

These are 2 sets from last weeks batch that I have let. I have 2 of each set available. They are $6.00 each. If you are interested send me an email. I also have a special in the shop right now {till 7/10) if you spend $20 you get a free clip set. This can be one of the LE sets or we can custom create a set together.

I think its a new collection Sailing in! Lol sorry that was cheesy. Im hoping to release the new Come Sail Away collection this weekend so I thought Id share a little sneak peak with everyone. While this is a nautical themed collection its very different from the traditional colors you normally see. While I a few pieces still pay tribute to the classice red, white and blue you'll also find corals, creams, sea green, and pink among others.

Whether out and beach or hanging in town these pieces are sure to bring a little fun to your summer!

Hooray it's finally the weekend. I've had one crappy week thats for sure. Im hoping to get several new pieces finished up this weekend as well as a new necklace Im considering adding to the shop.

I thought for those of you that don't follow me on Facebook I would do some updating. I am slowly switching over to an Etsy shop.

Everything new will be listed there and some one of a kind pieces as well. I have recently post 3 new collections there... well 2 full collection and a 3rd I havent finished all the pieces of yet.

You can order straight through etsy if you have an account and want to. There are tons of great things offered on etsy so if you haven't checked it out yet you should. I will also still take orders straight though email like we used to. So if you see something in my etsy shop you want to order but don't want to go through etsy we can do that too!

Hair style Ideas and a tutorial

I've had a few people ask me for some style ideas to use with our new bobby pins so I invited my sister over and did a few on her to give you some ideas on how we wear them. If you have questions or anything feel free to shoot me an email at Princesscouturedesigns@gmail.com. Hope you enjoy!

The standard:

This is how we most commonly wear ours. Simply pull your bangs/hair to the side and stick the bobby pin in!

The Braid:

Another simple style to wear your bobby pin with. I curled her hair with the straightener first.

Cute little pigtails:

This would be an easy style for second day hair... Do the one above the first day and follow it with this! The front is very loosely twisted into the pigtails which are sprayed and ratted to give them some volume.

The Twist:

Our favorite way to wear them! Followed by a small picture tutorial on how we do it.

Step One:

Grab the front section of hair and start to twist is backwards. Slowly grab more hair as you go down, similar to a french braid.

Twist it down and little then start to go towards the back of your head.

Step two:

Take a bobby pin and stick in back down inside the twist so the end of the bobby pin is facing the front of your head. You may need more then one to get it really secure.

Step Three:

Open the end of your flower bobby pin and stick it in toward the back of your head. Make sure it goes over the one you put in first to add extra stability and then tuck the ends under some loose hair so you don't see them.

The finished look:
